This is a result of "not enough information." See, I've been freelancing for a local Screen Printing and Embroidery place and the latest thing that they asked me to do was, and I quote; " an illustration of a sexy pig-girl on a Harley, pin-up style. You don't need to color it." I work my rear end off. Parts of me went numb for sitting for TWO day straight to get this done! Well, I finish it, feeling proud and I sent it over.
The next morning I get an E mail saying that she needs to be holding a tray of food and that the bike need to be at an angle, oh, and it needs to be a chopper. Oh yeah, go ahead and color it and design the rest of the T-shirt while you're at it.
*cries* There's really no way I can salvage what I've done so far.
So, I start on a new piggy (this was around noon) and I'm almost done (at about 6 pm) when I get a new note with a picture of what they want the pig to look like, and it looks more like Porky pig's sister then anything else.
So, now I have this finished pig on a finished bike, plus another finished pig holding a tray and not yet on a bike, but I won't get paid for them. I could kill... I really could.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
