Well, it's been nearly 4 years since I was here last and, wow. I've changed so much. I'm married now, have two more kids and I'm a stay-at-home mom with a LOT of time on my hands! Lol I'm not drawing like I used to. Drawing takes too much concentration and I've got babies to look after! I am still sculpting, but I'm trying my hand at Reborn baby dolls. You know, those creepily realistic dolls that some old bitties collect and pretend are real? Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I haven't exactly FINISHED one yet, not even close. And not because it's difficult (because it is), more like I'm just not sure about which method I want to use to have a completed one. See, a lot of reborn artists buy a kit that someone else made. They sculpt the doll, then send it off to have it mass produced in vinyl and sell to other artists who take these kits, paint them, put them together and root hair in them. Other people somehow create a doll and make a mold themselves and end up with something that looks like a Real Doll (you know, those super expensive silicone sex dolls?) with inter changeable belly buttons. So many methods, and I don't know which one to choose. And the secret for how each one is accomplished seems to be very closely guarded. Like, I have to spend a few hundred dollars to find out where to go from here.
I don't know, maybe I need a break.
